About BlogBanking
Free, accurate and private money calculators for India, built so anyone can check the numbers behind a loan, a salary offer or a tax bill.
What we do
BlogBanking builds calculators for the money decisions people in India make every year: taking a loan, comparing job offers, choosing a tax regime, claiming HRA or pricing an invoice with GST. Every tool is free and needs no sign-up.
We aim to do more than give a single number. Each calculator shows how the result is worked out, what changes it, and what you could do differently, such as the interest a prepayment saves or the deductions that would make the old tax regime worth it.
Our principles
- Accurate: formulas follow the rules published by the Income Tax Department, RBI, EPFO and the GST Council. See how we calculate.
- Current: every tool shows when it was last reviewed, and we update tax tools after each Budget and rule change.
- Private: calculations run in your browser. What you type into a calculator is not sent to our servers.
- Transparent: results are estimates, and we explain the assumptions behind them.
Our calculators
- EMI calculator: Monthly EMI, total interest and full amortization schedule.
- Income tax calculator: Old vs new regime, side by side.
- Salary in-hand calculator: CTC to monthly take-home pay.
- HRA exemption calculator: Tax-exempt part of your HRA.
- GST calculator: Add or remove GST from any amount.
More calculators for investments, savings schemes and planning are on the way.
