Privacy policy

All calculations run in your browser. The amounts, rates and other details you enter are not sent to or stored on our servers.

When you change a calculator, your inputs are added to the page address so you can bookmark or share the result. Anyone you share that link with can see those inputs, so share it only if you are comfortable with that.

We store your light or dark theme choice in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Like any website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These logs are used to keep the site secure and working, and are kept for a limited time.

If we add analytics or advertising, we will update this policy to name the services used, the cookies they set and how you can opt out, before they go live.

When our calculators are embedded on other websites, the same rules apply: inputs stay in your browser. The website hosting the embed has its own privacy policy.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask us what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or erase it. Since we do not collect calculator inputs, this usually only applies to emails you send us.
